Are you looking for free printables to have fun with your preschooler or kindergartener this St. Patrick’s Day? These adorable counting printables are sure to make learning fun this March for your little learner!
No worrying about wearing green or getting pinched here… these printables will get your preschooler or kindergartener excited for the greenest holiday of the year!
My own five-year-old wanted me to “make those come out over here!” (a.k.a. print them) as soon as she saw what mommy was creating on her computer. Right away she was counting her lucky stars, finding the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow aaaaand cutting out every little piece she could (right now, using scissors is her jam).
As you can see, practicing those early skills and having fun this St. Patrick’s day doesn’t have to be mutually exclusive.
After you print out each puzzle (or just the one you want to play right now), cut out each strip of the puzzle. You can do this, or your child can, under supervision of course.
Then your little one has to figure out what order the numbers go in. If they need help with the skip counting game, the image can be used for hints to solve it like a puzzle.
Let your child know that you are there for help if they would like it, but I’ll bet you’ll be surprised at how well they do on their own. :)
Check out this 40-page St. Patrick's Day activity pack! Be sure to grab it while it's only $1!
